4 on 3 is pretty a steep advantage. I didn't find a number for it, but given that the average 5 on 4 PP success rate is in the 20s and 5 on 3 is ~70,  4 on 3 is probably also in the 50% or better range.

Wings get off to an early start in Columbus, with goals from Raymond and Fabbri. Yes, Fabbri. Now 2-1 Detroit midway through the 1st.

The second I switch from the Michigan game to enjoy the final 8 minutes of a 2-goal lead, Jackets cut it to 5-4

What a dud. Has a meeting from 11am to noon PT so knew I would miss the 1st period but was looking forward to the 2nd and 3rd. Instead game is effectively over, 4-0 Ottawa, not even midway through 2nd.

Perron makes it 4-2 and the Wings are outshooting Ottawa 28-18.

This game has been dominated by Detroit since early in the 2nd but Ottawa has come on the past few minutes. Now the Wings take a too many on the ice penalty at a bad time, 5 minutes left in tie game.

Big kill. Still tied, just over 3 minutes to go.

Horrible time for penalty for flipping puck over glass. 1:30 of regulation to kill off

So the Wings have overcome a 4-goal deficit, a 5 on 3, a too many men on ice and a delay of game penalty to force it to OT. Given that, 1 point is already a win of sorts.
