It certainly helped that Mayfield couldn’t get the ball to a wide open Evans, or Garapolo couldn’t get it to a wide open Adams. Mahomes did get the ball to his receivers - they just couldn’t catch it. The other two veteran QBs the Lions faced, Geno and Lamar, got the ball to their receivers. And shredded Glenn’s D to ribbons. Yep. They're getting pressure, but what hurts them is “time to pressure” - which is a stat the Lions D-line ranks near the bottom of the league. Meaning, it takes them a long time to get to the quarterback. Only four teams are slower to the QB than the Lions.
