They're still a good team. With weaknesses of course...

But I'm going to start calling them the Kardiac Kitties instead of the Lions...

We said it in July. If this defense can be AVERAGE. AVERAGE!!!!!!!

We could be a really good team. We are somehow STILL bottom three in the league on defense and sit at 8-3.

This team is the 2023 Minnesota Vikings. Sorry guys

Hey c'mon. It's not that bad. Forest for the trees, man. Sheila, Holmes, and Campbell have completely turned this franchise around. Longtime fans have been begging for this for decades. This is still a rebuild - they're a few players away. Some things to fix, but they'll get there. Future is bright.

I just can't get mad at 9-3. I mean, holy crap

A win is a win. Especially on the road against a division contender.

It’s just so damn annoying that these guys can’t play a complete game. The offense balls out, the defense leaves it all on the bus. The defense shows up, the offense turns it over x7.

Something has to give. This defense in a playoff game will surrender 50 points. Does Glenn need to be fired? Maybe. Does he just need to be told how to do his job? Preferably.

They may be 9-3, but they look like a 7-5 team.

Oh, don't get me wrong. The 2023 Vikings is a big upgrade on what they were when Quinntricia left them in ashes but this is a one and done team. They have a long way to go to be a real contender IMO.

We were building for 2024 and beyond. This is just a prelude of what's to come.

I get that. I get that they were better than likely they even thought they'd be at this point too. But in the NFL your window doesn't stay open forever, if long at all. For every Kansas City Chiefs that has a 5+ year run of success, you have a Minnesota Vikings who has the hot hand for a season or two and falls back down to Earth.

If Chase Young ends up injured again or just not that productive in San Francisco then I'll shut my mouth and admit to being wrong. However, I just can't get over them having such a glaring need on the edge and still managing to pass up on a dynamic pass rusher that could have been had for a 3rd round pick. I'll be complaining about this one until Young proves me a fool. Had they traded for Young that would have signaled to me that they fully recognize their window is open and they are going for the NFC title now.
