And then McCarthy makes a bad throw and Michigan has to punt.  I just dont understand. Twice they bring in orji and both times they punt immediately.

Aside from JJ playing better it would be nice if Corum or Edwards could break a big run, probably the most surprising thing all season is how few of them they have this year especially Edwards. I'm having a hard time thinking of any 25 or so plus yard runs he has this year. Corum had the one right after the Zinter injury but not many more himself either.

Immediately back to 3rd and long.  They have been playing behind the sticks alot of the game.   And then a clear drop on 3rd down.  Another immediate 3 and out.  This offense is completely stalled.  They can’t do anything. Bad punt to boot.

Time to shift strategy to a defensive battle won in the last 5 minutes.  Michigan has the better defense and the lead.   Value field position and don’t make any dumb mistakes on offense.

These punts aren’t cutting it. Playing with fire. Defense may need to get a turnove, which seems unfair to ask of them given how much they’ve delivered so far.

JJ has no doubt looked bad but it would be nice if Michigan had atleast one elite WR that could create separation and run free. They seemingly haven't had a real good one in years.
