Mr.TaterSalad Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 We don't know that the Badgley and the Lions make the PAT after the TD. What do we know though . . . That Taylor Decker ****ing reported as eligible and made the damn catch for two. Quote

Hongbit Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 ESPN retired ref in the box says it’s not against the rules for 2 to report on the same play. Sounds like Brad Allen thought it was Skipper reporting when it was Decker. Quote
Hongbit Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 Simple explanation is that we got hosed 1 Quote

The Ronz Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 The offensive team must have at least seven players lined up on the line of scrimmage. Of the players on the line of scrimmage, only the two players on the ends of the line of scrimmage are eligible receivers. So, two players can report. I love having a coach who doesn't know the rules. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 The thing is, it's not illegal formation either like they said in the broadcast because Decker was eligible and essentially the TE. Quote

Hongbit Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 Skipper was coming in to play guard. He couldn’t check in anyway as it’s a non-eligible position. Quote

I love having a coach who doesn't know the rules. Thst wasnt the reason the flag was thrown. It was thrown because Decker "didn't" report as eligible. Decker reported as eligible and Skipper didn't say **** to the refs. Only Decker reported, but the refs screwed up and said otherwise. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 So players and coaches have to speak to the media after the game but crickets from the officials? How convenient. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 Taylor Decker has been mic'd up for games in the past. This would be the perfect game for him to have been mic'd up. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 They lined up SKipper at guard so that immediately makes him inelegible to catch a pass, you think the official would've put two and two together and realized it wasn't him that reported. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 I don't even see where Skipper talked to the ref? This isn't an issue of two players reporting. Quote

TP_Fan Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 Why was James Mitchell on the field for the final play? That should be discussed too. Quote

NYLion Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 Also, Dan Campbell exploded at the officials. He NEVER does that so that must tell you something Quote
