3rd and 30 and the lions give up a first down.  This has been a really big concern. 3rd and a mile and teams have been feasting against this defense.   It’s truly hard to understand.  Why are they not playing more prevent in that situation?  3rd and a mile is almost a guaranteed first down.

It just seems like it happens a lot. Actually, it only happens rarely. We just remember them because they're so rare.
