Deleterious Posted January 23, 2024 Author Posted January 23, 2024 I thought Cade would make it. Quote

Woj said Doc Rivers is being considered as a replacement. Wild. But if you create history as the worst team ever you get to keep your job because corporate heads like Gores don't want to look stupid after they give speeches all summer hitching their wagon to a new hire. buddha Posted January 24, 2024 Posted January 24, 2024 no one gives a **** about what candace parker thinks, just like nobody gave a **** when she played. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 24, 2024 Author Posted January 24, 2024 He should be the next coach fired. Quote
Deleterious Posted January 24, 2024 Author Posted January 24, 2024 Another guy we could have drafted. But we probably don't need a guy who averages 18 PPG on 45% shooting from three with great perimeter defense. Quote
buddha Posted January 24, 2024 Posted January 24, 2024 five great prospects? the pistons will be pick 6th. Quote

buddha Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 (edited) ugh. "few weeks back, the Atlanta Hawks initiated a trade discussion with the Pistons centered around Dejounte Murray, league sources told The Athletic. The Hawks were interested in Thompson/Ivey and other stuff of good value. Detroit had no interest, according to league sources." "Similarly, the Chicago Bulls and Pistons have had conversations involving Zach LaVine, league sources say. Chicago appears to be locked in on a package involving Bojan Bogdanović and one of Detroit’s blue-chippers for LaVine and his hefty contract. Once again, the Pistons have shown no interest in parting with any of Cunningham, Ivey, Duren or Thompson. It is possible Detroit considers adding LaVine when/if the Bulls’ asking price goes down. However, those are discussions that have been happening and will continue to happen internally." Edited January 25, 2024 by buddha Quote
Deleterious Posted January 25, 2024 Author Posted January 25, 2024 Assuming Doc coaches Milwaukee against Cleveland on Friday. It will mark the third time Cleveland has played Milwaukee in the past 10 days. Each time they would have faced a different coach. Quote
Betrayer Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 The Lavine stuff makes no sense. Getting past the bad contract and questionable player, let’s say they did actually want Lavine. How do you think you’re getting Lavine and keeping Ivey on the same team? How does that even work? It makes no sense at all unless you’re going to play Ivey 15 minutes a game at backup guard or play Lavine at SF alongside him…imagine that defense. Quote
