Big test tonight for the Wings against the streaking Oilers. For a change, the Wings should be rested, at least. 0-0 midway through 1st.

0-0 after 2. I was surprised to see that the Wings have scored 11 more goals than the Oilers this year.

Seider also playing huge. He and Walman both. They need to upgrade at least one more of the defense in the worst way.

Dazzling goal by McDavid ties it at 1, just when I was daring to dream of a shutout victory. 10 minutes left in 3rd.

Oilers have only trailed for 8 minutes out of past 350 minutes.

bad stick luck for the Wings. Seider has been on McDavid all game but had to go off to get a stick and it left McDavid unshadowed for just long enough. Petry can't handle him.

Now Walman goes off. Wings have no chance against the McDavid line without Seider and Walman and the goal follows almost immediately. Wings aren't going anywhere with only 2 decent defensemen.
