how bad is justin holl if he cant beat out jeff petry?

wouldnt edvinsson be a real boost for this team's defense?  they look so slow and incapable of exiting the zone.

am i the only one who thinks outdoor hockey games are dumb?

continue to be impressed with lucas raymond.  much better forechecker and stronger on the puck than he used to be.

I'm not really focused on the Leafs.

Detroit can move up or down a couple spots so that means keeping an eye on Tampa, the Flyers, Devils, and Islanders.

That's the immediate focus anyways... IMO.

I agree ... now. They have created some distance (6 pts up, same number of games played). But before their winning streak, they were down in the mix with the Bolts, Wings, and others.

Let me amend that:

If Holl is not playing... that's TWO LH'ed D playing their off-hands...

I'm not certain how much that matters to Yzerman...

But I'm going to guess there's less value in dumping Petry and a whole lot more in trading Ghost (per G2's point) and/ or  POSSIBLY even Chiarot.

As per my yearning, burning desire to both trade as well as buy...

The grapevine is saying the Rangers are looking to offer Kaapo Kakko for a player, the Oilers Phillip Broberg... and Columbus Adam Boqvist.

Regardless of whether we match up correctly with them to get any of these guys: Just a general question: Any interest in any of these 3?

depends on what they want.  all three are failing to live up to expectations, but none will be given away.  i'd rather not give up an asset for any of them.
