slothfacekilla
Kane buries it in OT from Larkin and Chiarot! Wow I thought the Wings were going to get run out of the building at first.

Wow I thought the Wings were going to get run out of the building at first. Two periods for Lyon, one for Larkin and Kane. When Veleno's group went out there in OT you knew it would be touch and go to survive until the next shift and Lyon saved it for them again. Who knows, maybe Lyon is a guy who's never had the right coaches or lockerroom, or maybe he's fortifying his Wheaties, and he can keep playing like this for 40 or so more games, but that is what it's going to take unless Yzerman pulls a rabbit out of his hat ....that just happens to also be a right shot Dman. Shinzaki
I would love to see them get RHD Tanev to pair with Chiarot on the 2nd unit. That's a playoff top

That's a playoff top 4 what would you give up for tanev? a second round pick? multiple seconds? if the leafs give up a first then he's going to toronto. calgary may be working for a first plus a prospect considering how desperate the leafs always are. slothfacekilla
Apparently Beggren rejected a contract extension recently. I'm guessing it was a low ball offer to get talks going, but who knows. We could see Beggren used as a trade chip one way or another this deadline.

Let's see what a 2nd rounder + Berggen would get us, if anything. I'd be fine with giving up both. Not a 1st.

buddha
roll four lines. sneaky under the radar story, yzerman hit on seider and raymond but has gotten zero contributions from anyone else in those drafts... patience? or misses?
gehringer_2
not counting last draft, which right now is looking nice, Cossa, Edvinsson, Kasper, maybe Solderblom still in play.

buddha
its still too early to tell and there is positive news on mazur, wallinder, johannson, augustine, and even gibson. next year will be a good chance to see if dylan james, or buchelnikov, or lombardi continue to grow.
