Motor City Sonics Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 The defense, bad as it is, should punch the office right in the mouth. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 My pick for their 1st win is still alive. Chicago...Turkey Day. Book it. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 I'm not sure how to feel after this game. I haven't seen a game like this in a while. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 (edited) and you couldn't put the other QB in just to throw the HM? Edited November 14, 2021 by gehringer_2 Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 Clearly no one here has seen Bad News Bears and knows they're about to win eight straight. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 The kicker should be released. Quote

That's 62 yards, plus the drop back plus the depth in the end zone. You're looking at over 70 yards in the air. I don't know what kind of arm Blough has, but I doubt it's 70+ yards. Quote

Makes no sense to me, but it's the Lions, you can't expect it to make sense. And why would they care if they did? If not today they obviously can't have any intention of ever using him?! RatkoVarda Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 tuned in late in thw 4th; never laughed so much during a football game in my life Quote

Motown Bombers Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 They could have tried a quick hitter to the sideline for 10 yards. Maybe 60 yards is within Blough's range. Quote
lordstanley Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 For Steelers fans, this tie must feel like a filthy brother-ugly stepsister scene. Quote
Hongbit Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 I think everyone can agree that Goff is terrible and will not be part of the future plans. I am confused at why they keep trotting him out there and not giving Blough a shot. Look, I don’t think he will do any better with the talent on offense but why not try something different. Even today with Goff banged up they still stick with him. Do not get it at all. When Boyle gets healthy they really need to give him a look to see if they have anything more than a backup. I doubt that will happen though the way Campbell has his head in the sand when it comes to Goff. Quote

I guess we all forgot 2019 when Blough had Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay and was still worse than Goff. I trust Campbell on the dynamics of the locker room. If Campbell thinks benching Goff in favor of an inferior QB will spark the team, than do it. 1 Quote
The Ronz Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 Did anyone tape the game or have the ability to replay it? On the Steelers opening series - the one where the Lions were called for pass interference - I swear the Lions defensive back clearly intercepted the ball! Was I seeing things? Did the ball hit the ground and I missed it? Did anyone else notice this? Quote
