two good defensive plays, then the secondary loses a receiver again.

They really struggle to understand who they are supposed to cover.

I wondered before the season started that the Lions were unwilling to invest anything in their #2 QB. You  pays your money, you takes your choice.

They came into this season with a lot of money invested in Chase Daniel. I'd rather have comp picks than a backup QB.

first of all, the lions are spending $25 million on a backup qb.  unfortunately for them he's starting.

who should they have gotten to play backup qb?  i mean, why would any team spend a lot of money on a guy who isnt very good?

you knew who spent a lot of money on a backup qb?  bob quinn.  how did that work out?

never go full quinn, g2.

Not declining the PI luckily doesn’t cost the lions.  That is another coaching blunder.  You need to decline the penalty there.

If they hold them to no yards, the Steelers are either punting or going for it on 4th and 15. I like it. It's aggressive.

Ok. Why is Goff out there?  He is obviously injured and he can’t throw it.  You’re giving away any chance of winning this game by allowing him to stay in. He can’t throw it 5 yards.  This is embarrassing.

You're assuming they would have had to spend a lot to get someone better than Blough? I don't know how true that is. Even if Daniel was too expensive ( and really, 3/13 is not that much) there had to be guys out there that could do a lot more than Goff is able to do today. But it goes back to a much more basic question of whether they *really* cared how much they might lose this season. I don't think it was/is very much.

Campbell is embarrassing himself by leaving Goff in.  This is amateur hour out here. You have to be able to at least attempt to throw it.

i mean, you have seen them try to throw today, right?

i dont put that on campbell.
