MichiganCardinal Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Why don't we just tackle the goalie on every attack, seemed to work for them. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Okay they waved it off, I'll tone down the sarcasm. Quote

lordstanley Posted April 2, 2024 Author Posted April 2, 2024 Flyers have tied it up against the Islanders, approaching midway through the 2nd. Quote
lordstanley Posted April 2, 2024 Author Posted April 2, 2024 (edited) I knew that Glendening is with the Lightning, didn’t realize Jeff Blashill is. Edited April 2, 2024 by lordstanley Quote
slothfacekilla Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 They're showing Blashill far too much, can't stand seeing him. Quote

lordstanley Posted April 2, 2024 Author Posted April 2, 2024 Bolts leave no doubt. How can you give up repeat 2 on 1 during a “powerplay” Quote

I'm watching on mute. Never saw the goal signaled but couldn't figure out why the score was listed as 1-1. No doubt about the next one though. Quote
lordstanley Posted April 2, 2024 Author Posted April 2, 2024 Raymond with nifty moves. Rasmussen couldn’t convert. Quote

Yup - He's never been a good enough skater to be able to use his size. He used to get knocked down a lot. He's gotten to where he can stay up better but he still doesn't have enough balance/strength on this skates to use his size. Quote

Sometimes maybe you just have to question stuff at what I'd call the 'stupid' level. Has Lalonde either overworked or under-trained this team? They just seem to be run down compared to the game they were playing in January. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Tigers are tied heading to extra innings. Wings are tied in a playoff chase. And the local BWWs has women's college basketball on audio. Quote
lordstanley Posted April 2, 2024 Author Posted April 2, 2024 No way, Philly ties it with 9 seconds to go. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted April 2, 2024 Posted April 2, 2024 Now if Javy Baez gets an RBI I'll know I'm dreaming. Quote
lordstanley Posted April 2, 2024 Author Posted April 2, 2024 Given strength of opponents, I was hoping for a modest 5 out of 10 points on this road trip. 4 points isn’t a killer, considering how it started and given Philly’s slump Quote
