Betrayer Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 The only person who doesn't see this is Monty. Let's keep rolling out that starting lineup with Ausar/Stew/Duren who are a -10. Not only does taking Stew out of the starting lineup help Cade and Ivey who are struggling with a packed paint every night, it also means less Wiseman minutes which is good for everyone. 2 Quote

Yup, that should be the starting 5. The rest of the regular rotation is filled in with Sasser, Grimes, Stewart, and I guess one of Fournier/Brown. Fournier has the proven 3 which could stretch the floor. Brown's 3% has gotten better over the years and is the younger player, so maybe him rather than Fournier? 1 Quote
Deleterious Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 Ivey is a step slow tonight and that is a good thing. Looks more in control. Form and balance on all of his shots are much better when he plays like this. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 It is only 8 games. But since the all star game Cade is shooting 48% from three. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 I swear it doesn't matter the team Schroder always seems to kill us. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 Ivey making up for a terrible couple weeks, hits a big 3 to give the Pistons a 9 point lead. He now has 32 pts on the night. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 This is the dream scenario when you drafted Cade and Ivey. Both are playing great. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 Pistons should win that challenge. Stewart did hit his hand but it was after the release, which is legal. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 Ah they called it on Thompson, not Stewart. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 Cade 32 points 11 assists 4-8 from three 8-9 from the line. Ivey 34 points 6-9 from three 8-8 from the line. Pistons win 1 Quote
RandyMarsh Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 Great to see both have a good game, always feels like if one has one the other doesn't. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 BTW we now passed the Wizards in win total who have now lost 16 in a row. It's gonna be tough to out tank them the rest of the way so we may be looking at the 6th pick instead of the 5th this year. Quote

NYLion Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 Slowly but surely, Ausar is starting bring up that 3 point percentage. Maybe it's just a blip but it's worth noting since he's also done that before towards the end of last season. Big if he can get that thing up to merely league average because he's really good at everything else. Quote
Deleterious Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 He is shooting 30% from three since the all star break. He shot 29% in February and 27% so far this month. Horrible numbers for sure. But for some context, he shot 15% before the all star game. Quote
buddha Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 other teams dont even bother to guard him out there. Quote

If he can get that percentage up to 33-35% or so, he's an All Star level player in 2-3 years like a better Herb Jones although he'll never be as good a long range shooter as Herb is.
