The location of that Tampa Tarpons (nee Yankees) stadium is where the Rays stadium ought to have been all along, but couldn't be, because the Yankees were there already.  It is right across from the Bucs stadium (though the Tampa Yanks were there first) in an area that has good major road and freeway service.  Appropros of nothing, I also met Skeeter Barnes there once when he was managing the Lakeland Tigers

Brandon Johnson's already gonna throw a couple billion of my dollars at a new Bears stadium, so what's a couple billion more for a new Jerx Sox Parx?

If the Sox were bought and moved to Nashville, they should move them to the NL Central and put Milwaukee or Pittsburgh in the AL Central

Interesting thought. I would be for the Brewers coming back to the AL, partially because that's my history, mostly because that would mean the Tigers would go there semiannually instead of biannually. Based on their recent run of success, though, I don't see them as eager to leave the NL Central anytime soon.

I want both teams to lose so it’s all good. In fact of all 4 teams left  I really don’t want any of them to win.

according to the twitter.... that's the first postseason game featuring a game tying, and go ahead HR by both teams with 2 outs in the 8th inning or later.  

Kind of convoluted but makes the point it's been a good game.

I feel a bit funny posting this because I don’t like the Guardians at all and in fact am jealous of what could have been if the Tigers had won game 4 or 5, but the Spanish-language calls of the Noel and Fry homers are a hoot. It really was a great game.

Mi padre trabajaba en una imprenta justo al otro lado de la autopista del estadio Tiger. De hecho, imprimían los programas diarios de cada partido y mi padre los traía a casa todo el tiempo. Me enviaron horarios, imanes, pegatinas y parches. Desde entonces me gustaron los Mets por eso. ¡Así que VIVA METS!
