Tork shouldn't need a swing coach every year. He was fine last year..not great but pretty good. Shouldn't be this hard.

Hinch needs to sit him down and tell him to back off and stop trying to hit everything 500ft. He may think he's 'sticking with the process' but his process has gotten distorted.

Part of what makes April the worst month of the baseball season (aside from the weather) is that there isn't enough of a sample size to go along with the hot takes that get fired off about players when they get off to slow starts.

Yes, that goes for Torkelson too... he's not the only person in this league who's off to a slow start FFS

Early hot take - Matt Chapman, so far this season, with his 7 hits and 6 RBI's and paltry .233 BA, would be the best hitter (and 3rd baseman) on the Tigers right now, and will finish the season with a better BA and more RBI's than anyone on the Tigers...
