Dtrain72 Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 If it werent for a couple walks and a hit batter, Mize would be sitting pretty right now...his stuff looks pretty good for his first time out in two years, and in 43° weather Quote

kdog Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 They were 13th in the AL in offense last year. My goal would be go get into the top 10. Quote
mtutiger Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Really nice outing from Mize overall.... considering how long it's been since he's pitched 2 Quote

chasfh Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Well, Mize did pretty fair, giving up only two runs plus a baserunner in 4-1/3 innings. If we could score even an average number of runs, he might still be out there. It's clear that the hitters are going to have to help preserve the bullpen today. Quote

I bet he is on a pitch count most of this year. 1 Quote
chasfh Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Do we really not have a better eighth man for our bullpen than Joey Worst? Quote
