This sure sounds like he used his power as a television show exec/whatever he was for the apprentice to get horizontal with her.  I wonder how many other women he did this to.

The list is probably shorter than the list of women he didn’t do this to.

Trump Appears To Be Ditching Son Barron’s Graduation For Minnesota Event

Shouldn’t this open him up to another contempt charge since he lobbied hard for the previously unscheduled day off.

I suppose the judge would be within his rights to convene the court and send Marshalls out to bring him in.

People always complain that politicians are above the law so then when they actually get prosecuted and a day in court they claim it's all bull****. Unreal!

TBF, their entire media ecosystem is telling them the trial is a sham and a fraud being used to paper over Biden Crime Family criming.

and that's probably more accurate because to me "porn" is kind of a slang and subjective term and media outlets should be factual and, even though "We know it when we see it"... porn is not a straightforward term.

They should also call it "extramarital affair with adult-film actress"

The media are finally, finally, coming around to referring to Stormy Daniels as "adult-film actress", which is a neutral designation, instead of the previously-universal "porn star", which made Trump seem like a heroic man's man for banging her. CNN, Washington Post, ABC News, NPR, and even People Magazine have all seem to come around. Good.

NYTimes still holding out, though ...

Necheles running into heavy weather going after Stormy

Now defense lawyer Susan Necheles is trying to hammer Stormy Daniels for using her claimed one-night stand with Donald Trump and her public attacks on him to sell souvenirs online — and Daniels is pushing back.

“Not unlike Mr. Trump,” the adult-film actress told the attorney.

“Much of the merchandise is you bragging about how you got President Trump indicted,” Necheles countered.

Holding her hand to her chest in what looked like mock surprise, Daniels replied, “I got President Trump indicted?”

Trump’s ego needs to stroked by everyone around him, including his lawyers at his criminal trial. After confirming that celebrities like Aaron Rodgers, Charles Barkley, and Ben Roethlisberger were at the golf tournament where Trump met Stormy Daniels, Trump’s lawyer asked Daniels to confirm that Trump was the most famous celebrity there. She then asked Daniels to confirm that Trump did very well at that golf tournament. Only Trump would be petty enough to try to get evidence of his fame and golf prowess admitted as evidence at his criminal trial.

Westerhout says Trump typically liked to read things before signing them

Madeleine Westerhout confirmed that in her experience Donald Trump typically liked to read things before signing them.

DA is not bringing Karen McDougal in to confirm that Trump is having affairs.  They must feel they have enough at this point to prove Trump's team felt they needed to do catch and kill and then the illegal financing.

According to my crystal ball, Trump will be found guilty, he will be released on his own recognizance pending sentencing, he will immediately high-tail it to Florida, and DeSantis will refuse to extradite him to New York state. After that Trump will appear only in friendly states that will refuse to extradite him. The Great Chasnac has spoken.

I’m going to reference something that only very old people here (like me) might get the reference…

The Firesign Theater comedy group had some great bailiff quotes that are coming back into my memory bank lately.

I actually thought of one after the E. Jean Caroll case that was totally appropriate.

That is all I’m sharing 🙂

"Mister Horwhickle, this is not the first time you have been before this court on such a charge, and we must make sure that you do not appear here again. Bailiff—whack his pee pee!"
