LongLiveMaroth Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 What are the odds that Wyatt Langford homers in this series? Quote
casimir Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Here are Lorenzen's 3 starts on the year, all in AAA. Could be a good opportunity to jump into the bullpen early and soften it up for the later games of the series. Also, looks rainy for Wednesday. Doubleheader on Thursday? Guess who lines up well for a start as the 27th player? Can't make it up, it'd be Manning. 3 Quote
SoCalTiger Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Looking for a bounce back from Olen today , Lorenzen getting knocked out early and Langford getting the golden sombrero. Tigers win. Quote

theroundsquare Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 I saw Lorenzen walking around downtown Birmingham presumably with his wife and carrying presumably his baby daughter. I hope she pooped while he was holding her and diminished his arm for tonight. Quote

Texas is probably throwing lefty Andrew Heaney on Thursday, so presumably he could have that day off. Or maybe that will be a day off for either Greene or Carpenter. They are in the middle of 14 games in 13 days, so it wouldn't be surprising to see position players get a day off during this stretch. Quote

SoCalTiger Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Glad McKinstry is in the bench. Just play Urshela most days. Quote

AZTigersfan Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Tork with much better ABs lately. Hopefully it’s a sign he’s about to heat up? Quote
Dtrain72 Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Is AJ now just trolling us with Greene still leading off? Quote
SoCalTiger Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Why didn’t they try to throw Hime out at second? He’s really slow that doesn’t fit the aggressive narrative of the team. Quote

Yes, Greene should not be leading off but to complain about it when there’s not a viable solution seems pointless. Quote

1776 Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 It’s a wonderful day on radio with Dirks and Dickerson. A world of difference with Andy in there. Quote
Jim Cowan Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 Olson has 7 K's through 4 innings, on only 55 pitches. So far so good. Quote

Vierling isn’t an every day guy so I’d think he’s out. Canha isn’t hitting any better than Greene. Gio is probably the most likely, IMO, of your suggested replacements based on current stats, though his plate discipline hasn’t been the same as it was at the beginning of the year. Still, good answer. Quote
kdog Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 (edited) 2 straight walks..Vierling swings at the next pitch and GIDP. I give Canha some deference because he has a track record...Vierling needs the pitcher to help him. Edited April 15, 2024 by kdog 2 Quote
