One takeaway from tonight, and maybe it's already in the process of happening, is that they really need to get Parker Meadows going.... he creates action when he's on the basepaths.

Just speculation of course but it wouldn’t hurt to take some reps pre game and try in the future because he does stink in the outfield as Tork does at first. Carpenter had a better arm. So if he proves good it’s one less bad outfielder and one less poor first baseman. 
Isn’t multiple positions the Hinch requirement anyways ?

And as a side note, great job by Dan Dickerson. He kept Craig under control and actually paid attention to the action. No giggling or just plain stupid discussions. I could listen to him and know there's a ball in play.
