Motor City Sonics
Okay, it certainly looks like many of us are getting what we want - someone else playing QB. We get to see is it really that they have horrible receivers or is it Goff? My question is this.............What if Tim Boyle plays well. Not talking a dominate performance, but you SEE the difference in the offense moving the ball and the ability to throw downfield. If Goff then declares he's well enough to play on Thanksgiving Day, do they automatically go back to him?
buddha
tim boyle should start regardless of goff's status.
Motown Bombers
Tim Boyle was terrible in college, threw over twice as many INTs as TDs, wasn't drafted, and is actually older than Goff. Don't hold your breath.
buddha
i dont expect a lot out of tim boyle, but after watching jared goff all season, i know that he should not be a starting nfl qb.
sabretooth
Boyle is hot garbage, clearly worsenthan Goff, but Goff is playing so badly this year...the fact that there is no serviceable option... Despite the fact that they were stuck with a very bad roster to begin with, they messed up several skill positions so badly....Kicker, WR, and we will see now about the backup QB. The only way to defend it is tanking.... But it's not like there's a Trevor Lawrence or Andrew Luck at the end of the rainbow. Oh well. Hongbit
I am dreaming of the Eric Hipple MNF vs. Bears debut. In reality, I expect Boyle to look like Jeff Driskel. A few solid throws to show that he has NFL talent but too easily flustered and bad decisions under pressure. buddha
most of holmes' free agent band aid acquisitions have flopped this year, boyle probably will too. just as a reminder, eric hipple on mnf was 14-25 for 336 yards and 4 touchdowns. and he also ran for two more. needless to say, his career was kind of all downhill from there. That Hipple game on Monday Night Football was the first Lions game I ever went to. That was a blast. Couldn't believe how loud the Silverdome was..............and then I went to the Lions-Jets Barry 2000 yards game.

Motor City Sonics
Josh Reynolds fits right in. Can we throw it more than 5 yards please?
TP_Fan
First look at josh Reynolds. He dropped an easy one. 3rd and 10 and the lions run it for zero yards lol. Campbell, it was thought he would be an amateur, didn’t know it would be this bad.
Motor City Sonics
3rd and 10 run. WTF? I thought they didn't try to throw on 3rd down because Goff was hurt. That was weak.
