so, the word on the street is that there will be a gov shutdown and it will be long lasting.  I'm likely ok because i'm in an emergency services position but it will cause a lot of pain for a lot of people who are not so designated.  

This is one of those times when it would be "nice" if if was the reason there was no inauguration because the lowly scum you President Musk and Vice President Trump deemed unsuitable to pay didn't erect barricades, do security screening of visitors, name traces on those who would come in contact with you or any of the other stuff that the Federal Government might do in this situation.

He might consider calling in the Bureau of Prisons, to do the inaugural.  Maybe the MAGA red hats can be his honor guards.

So, how do we feel about the Amazon strikes in light of the Bezos participation in the oligarchy?   Hard to cut off streaming services to support picket lines.  Maybe stop ordering from Amazon and seek other ways to get gifts?

I'd be good with cancelling all the pomp and stuff behind inaugurations. Deprive Trump and Prime Minister Musk the crowds and applaud they cravenly desire. Not even a small Rose Garden swearing in. Just a small group in the defunct Trump Hotel.

Take the money from the $ millions Trump has supposedly raised in his inauguration fund

Seriously though, the Dems need to take advantage of the fact that Trump is so co-optabe and has no loyalty. If there are things like this they can get done that most Repubs won't like, they should take him up on it.
