Trump is not even president yet… From your article. I wonder how sunny that fiscal update is. Freeland said the decision comes after Trudeau informed her last week that he no longer wanted her to be his government's top economic adviser. Her resignation came hours before she was due to provide an annual fiscal government update in parliament. Quote

romad1 Posted December 19, 2024 Author Posted December 19, 2024 so, the word on the street is that there will be a gov shutdown and it will be long lasting. I'm likely ok because i'm in an emergency services position but it will cause a lot of pain for a lot of people who are not so designated. This is one of those times when it would be "nice" if if was the reason there was no inauguration because the lowly scum you President Musk and Vice President Trump deemed unsuitable to pay didn't erect barricades, do security screening of visitors, name traces on those who would come in contact with you or any of the other stuff that the Federal Government might do in this situation. He might consider calling in the Bureau of Prisons, to do the inaugural. Maybe the MAGA red hats can be his honor guards. Quote
romad1 Posted December 19, 2024 Author Posted December 19, 2024 So, how do we feel about the Amazon strikes in light of the Bezos participation in the oligarchy? Hard to cut off streaming services to support picket lines. Maybe stop ordering from Amazon and seek other ways to get gifts? Quote

Deprive Trump and Prime Minister Musk the crowds and applaud they cravenly desire. Not even a small Rose Garden swearing in. Just a small group in the defunct Trump Hotel.
