kdog Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 Bullpen guy who has been really good most of the year getting tattooed...ehh it happens. Quote
buddha Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 it will take a few more years to get Al Avila's stink off of this organization. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 I remember Leyland saying the more pitchers you throw out there, the bigger chance you have of one giving it up. This AAA guy is getting smoked, when he throws strikes. Getting behind every hitter isn't the road to success. Quote
Hongbit Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 A few more like this and we won’t have to worry about Joey being exposed to waivers anymore. 1 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 Just now, buddha said: it will take a few more years to get Al Avila's stink off of this organization. He didn't put this guy into the game. Hinch pulling all the wrong strings. Olson gets the loss by giving up 1 earned run. 1 Quote
AZTigersfan Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 @ Sports Freak. Here’s a guy (Wentz) you should go nuclear on. My guess crickets Quote

kdog Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 By any objective measure, Wentz has been excellent this year. He has been terrible tonight. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 I would have thought Briske was stretched out to throw more than 22 pitches. Did Hinch look for the worst pitcher in his bullpen? Why? Over-managing. Quote

Several of his acquisitions are contributing this season and Harris has a new system in place which hopefully will take them to a new level. I don't think they are that far away from contending. gehringer_2 Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 They told Wentz to stay out there and burn some innings and Wentz said, "screw that, I'm giving it up until you take me out" 1 Quote
gehringer_2 Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 (edited) Riley really off his feed - that's a catch he should make 9 of 10 and the last AB he seemed totally out of it. Edited May 21, 2024 by gehringer_2 1 Quote

gehringer_2 Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 Well, if you are going to lose, you might as well lose big. Vancouver - Edmonton should be a good game. Quote

gehringer_2 Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 (edited) so maybe you want a more reliable hitter behind Keith. Haha - like the Tigers have one... Edited May 21, 2024 by gehringer_2 1 Quote
kdog Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 Colt Keith might be making a turn towards competence...maybe. 1 Quote
