Deleterious Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Now to settle in and watch how James Franklin pisses away the golden opportunity that just fell into his lap. Quote

casimir Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Who knew Ohio State had some NIL left over to bring John Cooper back to coach a game? Quote

Hongbit Posted December 1, 2024 Author Posted December 1, 2024 This playoff is going to wild. No great teams along with the silly high seeding of lesser conference champs means everyone will have a legit shot to take home the crystal. Quote

It helps that the day of the juggernaut that was Georgia, Alabama, and Ohio State seems to be fading. Each has two losses and could easily have more. Quote

I doubt that those 3 will fade for very long and won’t be surprised to see all of them back in the thick of it next year. Quote

I agree, though it will be interesting to see if Alabama can recreate any of the Saban era magic with DeBoer, or if they have a short leash if he doesn't win a National Championship in three years. I could see them slipping into the LSUs of the world if they start a rotating door at the head position. Quote
Deleterious Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Bitching about the rankings is going to be epic in the 12 team playoff era. Quote
Deleterious Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Can he trick a third team into thinking he is a good QB? Quote
Shinzaki Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Isn't McNamara like 40 years old? How is he still playing college football? Quote

Hongbit Posted December 4, 2024 Author Posted December 4, 2024 Signing day sure is different now. So many big flips going on today with 4 and 5 stars. It looks like Oregon, Ohio, Texas, and maybe even Michigan have reached into their bags at the last minute for that little bit extra to land some of these top guys Even the biggest spenders have a budget and it will be interesting to see who can spend like they don’t care in both recruiting and the transfer portal. He reminds me a lot of watching Bryce Love's junior season at Stanford. He is going to end up with 100+ more carries than Love had that year, but watching the games, you just knew that he was going to pop at least one at some point. And he's probably also going to finish 2nd in Heisman voting to a flashier player. Quote
Deleterious Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 I assume old man Sanders has passed away? Must be or else he would have popped up by now telling us how Jim Brown was better than Barry. Quote
casimir Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 ASU coach Dillignham (sp?) brought his brass sack with him today. 4th and inches at their own 35 and he dials up a deep pass (with some YAC afterwards) to get deep into the red zone. Quote

Will it be an open casket viewing and ceremony? How many clothing changes and suit/shirt/tie combinations do you think he has spelled out in his will? Quote
Deleterious Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 The SEC network is broadcasting this game from the sky cam which is directly behind the quarterback. Every football game should be broadcast with this view. Quote
