Only a handful of games today and the network still has Oregon St and Boise St kicking off at 10AM local time.

I thought I saw that Oklahoma State at Colorado was a 10am local start, too.  Why?

I remember the good ol days when I could turn on a game and immediately recognize who was playing based on their uniforms.

You sound like an old man.  You also sound like me.

Very interesting model detaching football from the rest of the athletic department and essentially giving it their own AD.  There are many programs that would benefit from this structure.

Questionable officiating is bleeding over to the college game. I don't know how this isn't targeting, and one clip clearly shows an official running in killing the play with the ball on the ground.

I was so focused on trying to find the ball that I hadn’t even considered that to be targeting.

I will say, I am quite appreciative that the TV PBP guy (name escapes me) reminded us 4,934 times in the final couple of minutes of regulation and all of the overtimes that a Georgia win would clinch them a playoff spot.

So is this just another step in football splitting from the other sports?  Or, shall we say that the other sports will soon split from football?

I actually love this idea. Football is so different from every other sports program, and that's not changing anytime soon.

I was feeling gaslit because the targeting was all I could see on the replay and the PBP guy didn't mention it one time. Super slow mo says that this was absolutely textbook targeting too, I've seen way less get confirmed.

But yes, I also noticed that if you took a drink every time they mentioned Georgia's playoff implications, you would not have made it alive to the 8th OT.

Love dogs.  Hate people that bring them everywhere though.

You would think a nice way to take that segment would be bringing a foster dog every week that is up for adoption, as a partnership with a shelter where you solicit donations. You'd have to vet the dog obviously (no pun intended) and make sure it's cool with crowds, but that could do a lot of good, instead of just being a dude bringing his dog to every game.

No, I just meant that when people lose a dog it’s usually swear off for life or have another immediately, not so many in between.
