Very foolish to play this game when you already have at Notre Dame on your OOS schedule and still have a B1G slate that includes at Michigan. They also first started this before even knowing what the full conference schedule would look like can you imagine if OSU or Oregon were part of the conference rotation. If the OL comes together, USC will surprise people this year. If not, it will be 7-5. I'm just adding context to that scheduled game. If USC was worried about the potential Big Ten schedule, perhaps they should have stayed in the PAC-12? Quote

The money was much better in the Big Ten so there never was an option to stay. USC should be playing Akron, Marshall and Western Michigan in addition to Notre Dame. Quote
Hongbit Posted June 5, 2024 Author Posted June 5, 2024 On the topic of worry. Has anyone taken a look at the list of projected starting QB’s in the Big Ten? Wow, that’s an ugly list with a whole lot of question marks. Quote

Graduate transfers and anyone that put their name in but didn’t move can still transfer and play in 2024. I believe players not in the portal can still transfer at any time and not lose a year of eligibility but wouldn’t be able to play this season. Don’t quote me on that though. Quote

I feel like with the way the courts are moving on this, a player who wanted to transfer right now and play in the fall could probably get an injunction to allow it. I think transfer rules are heading right out the window. 1 Quote

But they will deny reality as long as they can because they also know full well that the minute that football and maybe Basketball are admitted to be fully professional, control of the system by the schools becomes superfluous - the new structure will need it's own professional management system - like a commissioner/league office etc and there is no reason for anyone at any of the schools to have any direct voice in that administration/management. I see the school admins being dealt out in the end - or maybe just reduced to just making appointments of members to some other management board.. Edited June 5, 2024 by gehringer_2 Quote

Hongbit Posted June 26, 2024 Author Posted June 26, 2024 Yet another huge change from the NCAA. It seems like they have given up and are legalizing anything that needs enforcement. Quote
Hongbit Posted June 26, 2024 Author Posted June 26, 2024 Since they are legalizing everything else. Put on some Peter Tosh and spark one up. Quote

buddha Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 deion sanders is not a leader. he's an narcissistic, immature, ass hole. they may stumble into some wins here and there because he's able to charm a bunch of 18 year olds and pay them NIL money, but it wont be a successful program. and once his kid is gone he'll lose interest. deion doesnt want to work, he just wants the spotlight. that will become apparent to people after a while and they'll stop wanting to be with him. Hongbit Posted June 29, 2024 Author Posted June 29, 2024 Deion is absolutely a leader. He’s the lead actor on a TV show called Coach Prime. That’s the reason that he’s at Colorado. He needs to be a head coach to have his own show and it needs to be at a place where he’s bigger than the program. Quote
