I thought this was PSU’s year.  Thankfully the OSU defense got a call from Stan Van Gundy and they formed a ****ing wall in front of the end zone.

turnovers and freak plays are the only reason osu didnt win by double digits.

The referees called the play correctly, I don’t dispute that at all.  I have no doubt based on the angle of where the ball was lost and where it hit the turf that it crossed above the pylon and the rule was applied correctly.  But I’m curious what others think about the rule regarding the offense fumbling out of the offensive end zone.

the play was called correctly, it was just a fluke result.

osu did what they had to do late: run the ball down their throats.  penn state still has a hard time realizing theyre in the big ten and you'll have to defend runs up the middle.

Indiana seems for real.   I am rooting for them big time.       Sorry Michigan, your season is done and anyone but Ohio State, right?  So I am all for Oregon and Indiana right now.

No, I’m talking specifically about the rule, not the exact play that occurred.  I think the rule is the same in the NFL.  I realize it probably only happens a handful of times during a season.  I’d opine it’s a bit too punitive and if it occurred in a playoff game at either level and resulted in some momentum one way or another, the penalty would be a hot topic for change.

Maybe, maybe not.  We're at the point in the season where everybody has that one off game on their resume.  Undefeated Oregon is not far from being 2 loss Oregon, as an example.  Is Alabama the team that bludgeoned LSU or fell to Vandy?

I want Indiana to win so badly this week.        What a great story that is.

 

When I was in my first two years of college my high school friend went there and we road tripped to Bloomington a couple of times and had a blast.   It's really a cool little town.      I actually went to the rock quarry where they shot "Breaking Away", which is one of my favorite movies of all time - still to this day.    The slanted rock that the guys in the movie were laying on has been graffitti'ed like crazy and the water was not very clear anymore.   The locals really discouraged people from visiting that spot.  

 

I used to have this dream about needing to see someone at 833 S. Olive St. in Bloomington.   There is actually a S. Olive St too, but no house with that address.   Wonder what that dream meant.

I know you mean against Ohio State, that is the 23rd.  Indiana has a bye week this week.
