The GM has soft pedaled 'contention' every time he speaks on the record. It shouldn't be that shocking at this point. This is a year for evaluation, not competing. They would be at Lakeland playing in the Florida State League or Birmingham in the Southern League. Birmingham to Orlando was a good 12 hour one-way trip back in the day.
