1776 Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 Well, we got two wins before our ace, Maeda, pitches tomorrow night. Quote

If Kreidler stays healthy 30 days in a row, maybe, but I will have to see that to believe it........ The Rendon Plan is supposed to work like this. Sign the fat contract THEN get hurt and THEN after getting your guaranteed money tell the fanbase baseball isn't important to you. Kreidler messed up the order. No matter who starts at SS, who is on the roster now, Javy should be a defensive replacement in later innings with the lead. That was lazy managing. Quote

Tigermojo Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 I don't see any history of back issues with Flaherty so hopefully he will be fine. Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 5, 2024 Posted June 5, 2024 After this next final game with Texas, the Tigers play 12 of their next 20 games against NL teams, nine of them at home. Quote

Sure, as well as playing handedness or hitting type matchups. But that rewards could be all for naught if a reliever just ain't got it that day. That's the risk. Quote
