kdog Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 I forgot about Lange. He will be called up if a bullpen arm is failing. Wentz is out of options so you will likely lose him if he gets exposed IMO. Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Flaherty and Maeda pulled out of games back-to-back? This is totally weird. 1 Quote

kdog Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 I have heard the discourse about moving Keith to first and Jung back to second. It sounds intriguing..all contingent on both guys hitting. Quote
Tigermojo Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Keith needs a grand slam to make up for the costly error. Quote

But if they think Keith has a future in the big leagues, moving him to first would be about as dumb a move as they could make. He has a chance to be an above average bat at 2nd but at 1st, he would be a bottom 1/3 bat. Quote

I don't think we can just pick up an available well-hitting first basemen at Target. In any event, if I were going outside looking for help, whether via trade or signing, I'd be prioritizing shortstop before first base. Quote
Hongbit Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 Alex Lange has had 4 hitless innings in his last 4 outings in Toledo and hasn’t walked a batter since going down to the Hens. Have to assume he will be back up very soon. Quote
