Like one of those games where you "feel" they are up by 2 or 3 TDs when in reality it's still a close game. With that said I think they are the better team and will tack on a score late, 24-13 Michigan. Iowa beat Michigan State and MSU beat UM. If it matters.... Motor City Sonics
Baylor knocking off Oklahoma State (What an ending!) helps Michigan possibly still get into the playoff if they lose tonight. Scenario A. Georgia beats Alabama badly Iowa beats Michigan in a close game Houston beats Cincinnati I think it would end up being.... 1 - Georgia 2 - Notre Dame 3 - Michigan 4- Baylor 5 - Ohio St. 6 - Alabama ----------------------------------------------- Scenario B Alabama beats Georgia Iowa beats Michigan (close game) Cincinnati beats Houston 1 - Alabama 2 - Georgia 3 - Cincinnati 4 - Notre Dame 5 - Michigan 6 - Baylor ---------------------------- Scenario C Alabama beats Georgia Michigan beats Iowa Cincinnati beats Houston 1 - Michigan 2 - Alabama 3 - Cincinnati 4 - Georgia (they would do this to avoid Alabama vs. Georgia 2 straight games) 5 - Notre Dame 6 - Baylor ------------------------------ Scenario D Alabama beats Georgia Michigan beats Iowa Houston beats Cicncinnati 1 - Michigan 2 - Alabama 3 - Notre Dame 4 - Georgia 5 - Baylor 6 -Ohio State ------------------------ Scenario E Georgia beats Alabama (close game) Michigan beats Iowa Cincinnati beats Houston 1 - Georgia 2 - Michigan 3 - Alabama 4 - Cincinnati --------------------- Scenario F (the one I am going with) Georgia beats Alabama (more than 1 score) Michigan beats Iowa Houston beats Cincinnati 1- Georgia 2 - Michigan 3 - Notre Dame 4 - Baylor 5 - Alabama 6 - Ohio State But I do think Notre Dame should get penalized for not having to play a conference championship. Punk ass bitches. Edited December 4, 2021 by Motor City Sonics

MichiganCardinal
Watching Cincinnati, I think they would struggle mightily against a quality defense. They flew down the field without issue and then completely lost their identity in the Red Zone and stagnated. Then missed a chip shot field goal with their 3rd kicker of the year. I didn't want to be anecdotal, so I looked up their RZ efficiency on the year and they're 93rd in FBS at 0.797, between Temple and Arizona State. lordstanley
Houston had 22 minutes time of possession in the 1st half to 8 for Cincinnati. 14-13 Cincy at the half.
MichiganCardinal
Alabama with 340 total yards and counting in the first half against Georgia. -edit- 365 yards at the half Edited December 4, 2021 by MichiganCardinal
MichiganCardinal
Alabama with a late first half TD and they will have scored more points in the first half than Georgia has given up to a team all year. However these games wind up, there isn't a team in consideration that does not look beatable.

Agree though, Michigan is right there with every team in the country, everyone is beatable. Michigan needs to take care of business tonight and they get nearly 4 weeks to prepare for the semifinals. Bryce Young won the Heisman in the 1st half. Edited December 4, 2021 by lordstanley
MichiganCardinal
Alabama reminds me a lot of Ohio State in what would be required to stop their offense. Make Young sweat and keep up with the wideouts. I don't think Michigan would be able to run the ball down their throat the same way though. lordstanley
If Houston beats Cincinnati, I don't see how the CFP isn't Georgia, Alabama, Michigan and Notre Dame in some order, unless Michigan gets blown out by Iowa. update: Cincy now appears to be on its way, 28-13. Michigan needs to win to get in. Edited December 4, 2021 by lordstanley
TP_Fan
Cinnci scores 21 points within 7 mins to open the 2nd half. 35-13. That game is over. Michigan has a true playoff game tonight.
TP_Fan
Georgia isn’t even as good as Auburn.
Motor City Sonics
Scenario C seems to be what is happening.....................but I have the order wrong. If it keeps going this way it will be 1 - Alabama 2 - Michigan (please win) 3 - Georgia 4 - Cincinnati The reason Michigan would not be put at #1 would be to avoid Alabama vs. Georgia for a second week. Motor City Sonics
I bet $5 on a 7-leg parlay today. I have missed on every single game so far and I bet on Michigan, with a 10.5 buffer I took Kent State -3.5 LOST I took Oklahoma State -6.5 LOST I took Houston +10.5 LOSING I took Georgia -6.5 LOSING I took Michigan -10.5 I took Pittsburgh -3.5 I took San Diego State -

RandyMarsh
Damn earlier in the week I was looking forward to the thought of not having Alabama in the CFP(not just for Michigan's sake but I just hate them always being there in general) but now not only are they going to be there but it appears they will be the 1 seed and team to beat...yet again.
