At the refinery we use to say Ordegon. The Ex-Sun Refinery is apparently why Oregon exists.

I think it was a swipe at the locals by the carpetbagger engineers from the place up north. Oddly enough, I always thought the union staff at that facility was a lot smarter than the management - but TBF, that problem had it's roots in Philly.
