I almost feel sorry for Caleb Williams. They showed him on the sidelines looking SO confused. A leaky offensive line is a quarterbacks worst enemy. Chicago in the process of destroying another young QB carreer. Who they drafting next?

I’ve been watching that game. Good lord. Chicago looks like utter garbage. The team is a complete mess. If the Lions don’t totally smoke them on Thanksgiving I’ll be shocked

They should have cleaned house after last season. The team is run by idiots. I can relate. 🤨

It reminds me of the time that everyone in the world knew the Lions needed to get rid of Quinn and Patricia but Sheila Hamp and she gave them that extra, pointless year.

Bears in the same spot.

Eberflus and McCarthy will both be fired and Ben Johnson is going to be the #1 candidate for both jobs.     I sure hope that Johnson's understudy pays very close attention to what he's doing.       The Lions OC job should be filled by an insider.

Sheila didn't take over the team until near training camp. It was too late at that point to clean house.

That and we were also in the middle of the pandemic, we weren't even sure how much if any of the NFL season was even going to be played at that point. It just wasn't an ideal time to clean house and try to start over cause there was just so much going on in the world.

Also in defense of the Bears management they went 5-3 to end the year last year and particularly on defense looked like one of the better teams in the league so I could see why they didn't clean house. You generally don't do that when a young team responds like that and finishes out the year that way.

Well, I hope they sweep Green Bay and Minnesota. Give that coach and GM an extension...🤣🤣

It makes us wonder what's going to happen to the Lions now that they're good. Like POTUS and Congress disbanding the NFL? All because the NFL owners voted not to let a shyster become an owner. Smart fellas...lol

I remember posting on the old site that I didn’t think changing on Quinntricia made sense at the end 2019. There was reason to think they were on the ascend. I remember feeling like another turn on the revolving door wasn’t going to help anyone in that moment.

Sheila cleaned house at the exact right time.

For that matter, credit to Martha for firing Caldwell. Her process for choosing Patricia was obviously flawed, but if Jim Caldwell was still our coach we wouldn’t be where we are now. He was a perpetual pergatory coach.

She hired Chris Spielman first, I think. And I'm not sure if he gets enough credit for our turnaround. Hard nose player and this team is...hard nosed.
