RedRamage
Bears gave up 9 sacks and 13 Tackles for a Loss. 21 times the Patroits... the Patroits! ...were making tackles inside the Bears OL. I mean... holy crap thats bad. Prior to the Bears game the Pats had a total of 16 sacks... they averaged 1.78 sacks per game in the previous 9 games. This one game jumped their average to 2.5 sacks per game. Packers fans gotta be just pissed right now. All three other teams in the North had pretty crappy games. The Vikings didn't even manage a TD against the Jags, the Bears OL apparently thought this was their bye week, and the Lions were getting their butts handed to them in the first half. And yet somehow only the Bears lost.
Motor City Sonics
As far as the Cowboys rebuild, Do you think Micah Parsons is someone the Lions would even consider after what he said yesterday? That's not a Lion. This version of the Lions, nobody does that or would even think it. When Campbell was 3-13-1 nobody did that.

Motor City Sonics
New Hot Seat Rankings (Because I don't believe Miami's or The Rams' coaches are in any real trouble) 1. MATT EBERFLUS, Chicago. Should have happened in the offseason, it sure will soon. Maybe very soon. 2. MIKE McCARTHY, Dallas. Jerry doing the midseason thing is still unlikely, but it's really bad there and it wouldn't shock me if it happened now. Maybe even today. Jerry has Mike Zimmer on the staff. But what Micah Parsons said....to me, that's a team suspension. 3. BRIAN DABOLL, NY Giants. The Maras are not very reactionary, but this has gotten bad. Daniel Jones is a great example of why having a mediocre QB have a good year is an absolute nightmare. Then you gotta pay them. 4. DOUG PEDERSON, Jacksonville. 2-8 and the Vikings stunk yesterday, but they still couldn't beat them and Pederson was hired to get the best out of Trevor Lawrence. And now they're coming here? Yikes. 5.KEVIN STEFANSKI, Cleveland. The win over Baltimore shows that anyone can beat anyone on any given Sunday, but it might have spared Stefanski for a little bit 32. DAN CAMPBELL, Detroit. Oh, you're down 10-0 in the first quarter? Oh, down 23-7 at the half? No problem. This like George Costanza living the opposite life for Lions fans. Even when DC makes a bad risky decision it serves a purpose. Amazing. Edited Monday at 02:00 PM by Motor City Sonics

He basically said McCarthy could just leave. It was beyond wrong and it shows how toxic things are in Dallas. But if I am the owner and the season is this lost, I'm suspending him for at least a week.

Actually, I agree with you. You don't air the dirty laundry like that. No, it ain't going well in Dallas, but I really doubt it's from a lack of effort. McCarthy would not have been in this position otherwise.

McCarthy was a bad hire to begin with but Jerry is gonna Jerry. Of course that’s why they won’t tank and protect their best player, I mean suspend Parsons for the season, because Jerry is gonna Jerry. But what do I care? It’s his money and the Dee-Troit Lions are now America’s Team.

Motown Bombers
I'm enjoying watching the Bears implode. Caleb Williams has played Daniels and Maye and both of them looked better than Williams. Williams has better talent around him than Maye. Moore looks like he hates Williams and quit on the team. Some folks warned about Caleb when he was in college. That he had a lot of holes in his game. But we're seeing proof of the dilemma of bad teams. You need to draft a QB to be the face of the team, but you probably shouldn't play them until you build a decent team around them. Is Bryce Young as bad as he looked last year? No. He just had nothing around him. Is C.J. Stroud as great as he looked last year? No, but he had a much better team around him. The best thing to do is what the Packers have done. When you have an aging QB, draft your future QB 2-3 years before you plan to use them. But the Packers have never hit rock bottom. I think the Lions were smart to draft Hooker last year. Let him watch, hope we don't need him. Bears bad coaching didn't help Fields and it isn't helping Williams and their decent start was the benefit of scheduling more than anything else. Hope they don't take Ben Johnson away, but Ben is eventually leaving.
Hongbit
A stout OL and a between the tackles RB are much more important weapons for a young QB’s than having stud WR’s and TE’s. That OL is atrocious yet Poles chose to waste the 9th pick on another WR and a 4th round on a punter.
Motown Bombers
A between the tackles RB you say? Like David Montgomery? Too bad they don’t have Montgomery. Their line isn’t great, but Williams holds the ball a long time. A lot of these sacks are on Williams. He’s frankly a lot like Fields. He can’t read defenses and operate from the pocket. Unlike Fields, he hasn’t shown the ability to make big plays with his legs. Now the Bears fired Waldron. Time to Bear down.
MichiganCardinal
It feels to me that the issue in Chicago is the same organizational ineptitude that plagued the Lions for so many years. Terrible owner hires people who are terrible at their jobs to run the franchise. They lose a lot of games. They get fired. Terrible owner hires people who are terrible at their jobs to run the franchise….. Matt Eberflus should have been fired last year. Since he wasn’t, now you have a lame duck coach with a rookie QB, and you’re going to do the same thing you did with Justin Fields (and the same thing the Jags did with Trevor Lawrence) in replacing his coach for his sophomore season. A better organization would win many more games with the gift wrapped draft picks handed to the Bears by the Panthers.
