I’m guessing they like Bridgewater in the film room but doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense otherwise.

Bridgewater > Hooker if needed, right?

I think there is a recognition that if this team is going to win a championship, there will likely be at least one must-win game where we need to plain outshoot our opponent. 42 or more points.

Obviously we can do that, but we can’t afford to water down our offense for a rookie.

I do think it’s something of an indictment on Hooker, but it’s not a career defining one. They don’t trust him right now to lead us to a championship. But how many NFL QBs with zero career starts would you trust? Hooker will still be our backup next year.

Some of the talking heads are talking about Pete Carroll being interested in the Bears job. Don't know how I feel about that, on one hand he is an all time great who has had success virtually every where he has gone but OTOH he is obviously getting up there in age so could be just a short term fix where as somebody like Ben Johnson or even a Mike Vrabel has the possibility to completely change the culture and team for the foreseeable future.

Any one of those 3 guys would be a huge improvement for the Bears. Vrabel makes the most sense, he's young enough and has had success. But isn't he more of a defensive coach? I think Johnson would probably be better for Caleb....IDK.

lol, Bears. Absolute train wreck of a final possession with 5 minutes to go down 3. Take the full 40 second between plays, illegal procedure on a 4th and 1, burn a timeout in punt formation. Then when finally  a 1st down at the Seahawks’ 40 throw 3 lowish percentage incompletions instead of ensuring field goal range with a run or two. On 4th and 10 with 15 seconds to go Caleb throws up a back foot pop fly that gets intercepted. Game ends with Chicago having 2 timeouts. Seattle 6 Chicago 3.

The Eberflusing continues.    You can take the Bears away from Eberflus, but can't take the Ebeflus out of the Bears.

This team has lost 5 games this year just on coaching alone.

The Lions-Vikings game has the potential to be the most meaningful game next week. Rams-Seattle may be for a playoff spot but I think only if the Rams lose this week. Hopefully, the Lions will have the division and the bye wrapped up Monday night. Go Packers!! (I need a shower)
