Sports_Freak Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 SOL thru history; the NFL will want the Minnesota -Detroit game to be big for ratings. They'll either make sure the Vikings win or Detroit loses. The NFL is a (big) business and businesses need to make money. Screw the Lions, they don't matter Quote

Screw the Lions, they don't matter I had this thought about the Packers/Vikings game. Definitely benefits those in charge if the Vikings win. I’m not sure the Lions/Niners game will be close enough to have one or two calls matter. Quote
Tigeraholic1 Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Ram/Cardinals game last night. Cardinals with the ball, 35 seconds left 1st and goal (on the 3) and two timeouts. They had ran the ball all the way down the field. Instead of running it, Kyler throws a pick in the endzone..... Quote

And Matthew Stafford runs the 2 minute drill as well as any QB I've ever seen. Just totally in control... Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted December 29, 2024 Author Posted December 29, 2024 Rooting for the Packers doesn't make me as ill as it would have with Aaron Rodgers as their QB. I have not developed any real ill-will towards Jordan Love and I doubt that, given time, he will end up being as big an a-hole as Aaron. 1 Quote

I don’t think he’s the generational superstar or generational prick either Favre or Rodgers were, which makes it a little easier to swallow. Edited December 29, 2024 by MichiganCardinal Quote
Motown Bombers Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Favre and Rodgers weren't douchebags in the beginning. After a decade of living in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Love will turn like the other Packer QBs. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Everyone got their Zofran ready as we root for a Packers victory? Quote
Motown Bombers Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 We're not rooting for the Packers; we're rooting for the Vikings to lose. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted December 29, 2024 Author Posted December 29, 2024 Buffalo 40, NY Rodgerses 8 Aaron pulled for Tyrold Taylor who gets the only score for the Jets today. 1 Quote

RatkoVarda Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 any given Sunday Colts, desperate to stay alive in the playoffs, give up 45 to the NYG who had lost 10 in a row and scored only 35 points total the last 3 weeks Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Just now, Motor City Sonics said: Is it too early to call Anthony Richardson a bust? The Colts Bear’d him. Youngest QB in the league in two consecutive seasons, and they threw him to the wolves with no time for development at all. 1 Quote
Motown Bombers Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Joe Flacco was the starter, but Richardson was a bust before he was even drafted. 1 Quote
RatkoVarda Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 I don't doubt that Richardson is injured, but with the season on the line, Stafford or Mahomes would have demanded to play. Maybe Richardson did that. But whatever slim chance there was of him developing into a competent QB was destroyed by the Colts. Teams needing a QB: NYG, Raiders, NYJ, Cleveland, NO, Indy, Tenn and maybe Seattle. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 I already hate the Packers again. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Minnesota’s turnover differential is the way they win games. They minimize their own mistakes, capitalize on their opponent’s, and carry that to small margin victories. Which means the worst thing you can do is shoot yourself in the foot. Quote
holygoat Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Green Bay having a nice methodical drive, then fumble it in well into Vikes zone. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 The fix is in. Green Bay bum just laid the ball on the carpet. It looked like on purpose. Nobody knocked it out. Quote
KnoxP Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Really hoping that Jordan Love stops looking like…well…Jordan Love 😬 Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Figures we would get this version of Green Bay when we need them to be a competent football team. Quote
