If Steafanski gets canned (VERY good chance)...........Would Jim Schwartz become, at least the Interim Head Coach?

My guess is yes, since he has Head Coaching experience.

This would be the first time, in my memory,  a former Lions Head Coach moved on to be a Head Coach in the NFL again.

It would be a very Browns move to can a 2x and reigning COTY five weeks into the season.

Their problem is Watson. They need to Russell Wilson him, no matter the financial cost.

Vikings are 5-0.

I think the Vikings are the definition of peaking at the wrong time.

They might end at 12-5. They might even win the North (though I’m far from counting that chicken, Detroit and Green Bay both beg to differ).

But they feel like a first round exit to me.

Bengals season is done - because of a kick holder.     1-4.    Not making the playoffs with a 1-4 start in the AFC.

Ohio is 2-8.     That part doesn't bother me.

They’re only two games back. Lots of football left to play and they looked better than the Ravens at times today.

But, that's an example why, when time is not a factor, like end of game or half - you go for the FG on THIRD down.  If that happens on 3rd down, the holder smothers the ball, and yes, they lose yards, but going for a 57 yard kick is better than turning it over.

Not saying it's Stefanski's fault.   But coaches take the blame.

I don't think the Browns have an out if Waston gets convicted.  They're on the hook for all of it.

Fools.

If they had Baker Mayfield they would be a consistent playoff team, probably doing exactly what the Bucs are now as a really tough team to play.

If things fall a certain way they could void $92 million. Couldn’t get out of cap charges though.
