Hongbit Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 I really hate having to root for Aaron Rodgers. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Aaron Rodgers looks baked and anything but elite. I don't see this season getting substantially better for the Jets. Maybe I shouldn't discount Aaron Rodgers so quickly, but he doesn't look good. Quote
Hongbit Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Hard to figure whats more overrated on this Jets team, the current state of Aaron Rodgers game or the all-pro hype for Garrett Wilson. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted October 6, 2024 Author Posted October 6, 2024 I think Aaron Rodgers threw that game just to screw over the Lions. He'll be backstabbing Robert Saleh all week Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted October 6, 2024 Author Posted October 6, 2024 I could not root for Aaron Rodgers -- not even today. The Lions get two shots at the Vikings. Plus the Vikings have a knack for choking. I'm fine with today. **** Aaron Rodgers. 1 Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted October 6, 2024 Author Posted October 6, 2024 (edited) If Steafanski gets canned (VERY good chance)...........Would Jim Schwartz become, at least the Interim Head Coach? My guess is yes, since he has Head Coaching experience. This would be the first time, in my memory, a former Lions Head Coach moved on to be a Head Coach in the NFL again. It would be a very Browns move to can a 2x and reigning COTY five weeks into the season. Their problem is Watson. They need to Russell Wilson him, no matter the financial cost. Quote

They might end at 12-5. They might even win the North (though I’m far from counting that chicken, Detroit and Green Bay both beg to differ). But they feel like a first round exit to me. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted October 6, 2024 Author Posted October 6, 2024 Don't blame the kicker in the Bengals game. Snap was slightly off but the holder fumbled it. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted October 6, 2024 Author Posted October 6, 2024 Bengals season is done - because of a kick holder. 1-4. Not making the playoffs with a 1-4 start in the AFC. Ohio is 2-8. That part doesn't bother me. Quote

Lots of football left to play and they looked better than the Ravens at times today. Quote

If that happens on 3rd down, the holder smothers the ball, and yes, they lose yards, but going for a 57 yard kick is better than turning it over. 1 Quote

RedRamage Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 This was a pretty bad bye week for the Lions... Vikings win... Bears win... Packers win... Even the Cowboys win. 😞 I guess at least the 49ers lost, so there's that. Quote

If they had Baker Mayfield they would be a consistent playoff team, probably doing exactly what the Bucs are now as a really tough team to play. Quote

Couldn’t get out of cap charges though. Quote
