Expand right now, there is a clear role for Tork, as they still need RH power generally, and a RH complement to Keith at 1b and Carpenter at DH. Tork is the most likely player to give them that. Edman85 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 There's no reason to drop Tork now, none, zero, nada. If he was out of options or about to get expensive, yes. Otherwise you are just selling low out of short-sightedness. 5 1 Quote

monkeytargets39 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 (edited) Dodgers DFAd Diego Cartaya. Was their top prospect a couple years ago as a catcher. I remember people wanting him in return for E-Rod. He’s had a rough last couple seasons but he’s only 23. Maybe a fresh start in a new system could help him. Edited January 4 by monkeytargets39 Quote

He’s shown periods, flashes, of being able to hit major league pitching. He’s also shown the ability to be an average or better fielder, but again, not consistently. He’s also a better runner than you think. It just takes some players longer to figure it all out. Will he? It’s worth waiting to find out. 1 Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Prediction - Bregman signs with Tigers 6 years, 184 million with a player opt out after 2 years. I don't thin he's worth 30 mil a year and that could cause problems when it's time to re-sign some of the young guys, but I also don't think the Tigers are going to keep Riley Greene for the long haul. Especially if Max Clark develops like they hope he will. If Riley wants to stay long term he needs to avoid the injury list the next two years. 1 Quote
