Jay Harbaugh will get a long and serious consideration.

not so sure.  there are obviously significant elements within the donor base that dislike harbaugh.  i can see there being an institutional aversion to bringing another harbaugh in.

and the natural reaction from "untested assistant coach" (which moore is) is to go to "tested head coach".

and we also dont know who will be available or who the next hot prospect will be.

Part of the equation too is who will be making the decision. It's probably fair to say Warde would not hire another Harbaugh. I think the general alumni/donor base would be fine with a Harbaugh, because Harbaughs are associated with winning. If we are replacing a non-winner, winning will be the most important characteristic of a hire.

But who knows. Maybe Sherrone shocks the world and beats OSU in Columbus. That would save the season for him.

there's no excuse for the oline to be this bad.

Again, lack off effort, institutional pull-back, incompetence? The size and options of the grad programs at Ann Arbor have  been a point of leverage for bringing in graduate O linemen with remaining eligibility. And that's even the kind of thing that is largely coach or NIL dependent, these are guys who know they are not going to be playing on Sunday - they are actually there to get their degrees,  but know that at 24/5 they can get their tuition paid and still play a little winning FB against 21/22 yr olds.

almost all those linemen are seniors.  well, except the 3* kids they decided to play at right tackle and center.

Michigan needs to get to 6-6 to qualify for a bowl game so they can self-impose a bowl ban.  That will definitely lessen any potential NCAA punishments in the future.   They don’t want to play in a garbage bowl game anyway so it’s a perfect situation if they can take advantage.

The other issue is they have 4 guys that still show up in mock drafts as 1st rounders next year.  Do any of them shut it down early as is the new way for guys in this situation? Ohio St. does give them something to play for but all these guys could skip and leave saying they never lost to Ohio State.

This all means that MSU is an absolute must win for more than just bragging rights.

what do you mean?

He left hurt last game, right? haven’t heard what’s up with him.

hongbit mentioned players with high draft grades potentially leaving early now that the season is effectively over (outside of trying to beat OSU for a 4th time in a row). I was curious if there were any rumblings of Johnson shutting it down. He’s a legacy, though, so I would be surprised, but I certainly couldn’t blame the young man for thinking about his future and making a business decision.

outgained by 134 yards in ONE QUARTER!

AT HOME!

TO MICHIGAN STATE!

BWAAAAHAAAAHAAHAAA.

if this werent so embarassing, it would be really funny.

how bad is oregon going to beat them?  50-0?

Watching Oregon destroy Illinois, my prediction was 53-6. Now I’m not sure Michigan gains 6 yards in that game.

I would think Campbell might be moved around.

shuffling chairs on the titanic.

talk to me if they go out and spend $20 million like ohio state did.

they need a qb, at least two olineman, at least 2 receivers, an entire defensive line, multiple corners, at least one safety...
