Michigan Football 2024 aka The Year Michigan has to Defend a Natty

News at 11, Orji is a terrible passer and really limits what Michigan can do on offense. In the limited chance he does get to throw the ball he goes and throws a pick. I don't think we'll be finding the endzone again today, so the defense better keep holding Milore down and making stops.

If they had put a sign up for tryouts on the bulletin board at the UGLI in August they probably could have come up with a better QB than Warren or Orji.

No doubt, it's hard to believe the defending National Champions, couldn't have found a better QB than what they had in their room. New coach or not, no excuse for why the talent level was this bad at the most important position in your team.

8-5 season but with wins over USC, Michigan State, Ohio State and Alabama.

We'd be 11-2 with any kind of decent QB and WR play. Oh well, let's get it next year.

exactly. I think the program assumed it was going to be a throw away year but in hindsight the season turned out to be a missed opportunity all because they didn't come up with a QB.

So, we feel a lot better about this team going into next season.   Love bookends against the premium SEC school of the past two decades which happens to be my Dad's alma mater.  My mentally handicapped brother was rubbing it in on him on the phone.  I'm like: "the man is 95, dude...go easy!"

Don't even know if he's a MAC QB.    Will he change positions?

Are they going to play Underwood next season?

Keene just came in, if Davis doesn't bolt that's two options if Underwood is redshirted.

Wouldn't be surprised if Orji could succeed at any skill position at D1 except the one he wants to play.

Especially a position that could take advantage of his name a bit.

so why didn't he?

Someone should tell the young man that there is no shame to being a slot receiver in the NFL or an H-back for pay.  He's heading down a road that will lead him to poverty if he keeps thinking he can be an NFL QB.
