The youth on this team seems to have energized them. Also, like Jason said last night, these guys all played together at lower levels. So there's that team building already in place. Comradarie

Me too. But I wasn't factoring in 7 consecutive games vs the White Sox and Angels. The way AJ has been patching the pitching together has been impressive

And I know that "pitching wins" is a horsecrap statistic, except for that one Steve Carlton year, but "20 game winner" would look good on Tarik Skubal.

What’s amazing is that he won 27 games that year and his own team, total, won only 59.

at the trade deadline, I was wishing there was a discounted mlb.tv package that covered only the first 2/3 of the season and that I'd bought it instead of the full season.
