He’s been one of the top analysts the last three years and particularly is in touch with the Lions. Was actually excited by this profile. Goes to Cowboys at 12. Quote
1984Echoes Posted yesterday at 01:32 AM Posted yesterday at 01:32 AM No, he ran double TE sets with the Lions with LaPorta and Brock Wright. Loveland doesn't look Ebron-ish to me. I'm not saying he is or isn't LaPorta... I just don't see the resemblance (playing style) to Ebron. Quote

At least three guys in the 2nd/3rd round area, Tate Ratledge, Mbow and Savaiinnaea that I like quite a lot. Maybe Dylan Fairchild too, who the Lions looked at. It's so much harder to find pass-rushing DT's and high-quality edge rushers and cornerbacks... If Holmes REALLY surprises me... it would be to select Will Johnson or Shavon Revel who were both considered top 15 pick CB's but are falling due to their injuries... Otherwise... I'm really looking for a DT or DE in the 1st and a Guard in the 2nd... Of course Brad is going to draft exactly a Brad Holmes player so I don't know who that is. But I'm still hoping for pass-rush first... Quote
AlaskanTigersFan Posted yesterday at 01:38 AM Author Posted yesterday at 01:38 AM I'm kinda hoping he trades out of the 1st round now. Quote
1984Echoes Posted yesterday at 01:40 AM Posted yesterday at 01:40 AM If he can't get "his guy" then yes. But if he thinks there's a game-changer within reach and trades up... that won't bother me one bit. Quote

I don't think the Draft is falling to bad for what the Lions need so I think there still could be a difference maker in a position of need. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted yesterday at 01:44 AM Posted yesterday at 01:44 AM It just seems to me the Bears have more pressing needs than TE. Kmet is a good TE who they signed to an extension not too long ago. Quote
1984Echoes Posted yesterday at 01:49 AM Posted yesterday at 01:49 AM I'm not really going to worry about the Bears until they start winning more games. And if we beat them twice... moot point, to me. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM I'm not worrying about the Bears, I'm pointing and laughing at the Bears. 1 Quote
RedRamage Posted yesterday at 02:01 AM Posted yesterday at 02:01 AM At this point I just want the Lions to trade in front of the Packers. The content from Grossi would be worth it. 1 Quote
buddha Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM kmet is a very average tight end who is overrated by chicago media. let us not forget, much of the chicago media had the bears winning "at least 9" games the last TWO seasons. including their announcer saying "i dont see less than 11 wins on the schedule" two years ago. the bears are always overrated. they will be again this year. 1 Quote
RedRamage Posted yesterday at 02:06 AM Posted yesterday at 02:06 AM Crap... I was kinda hoping that the Lions would get Zabel. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted yesterday at 02:06 AM Posted yesterday at 02:06 AM Zabel was actually my prediction for the Lions, surprised to see him go this early. Quote
buddha Posted yesterday at 02:07 AM Posted yesterday at 02:07 AM if harmon and green are gone, trade back for a stupid team that wants to come up and draft a qb. Quote
1984Echoes Posted yesterday at 02:08 AM Posted yesterday at 02:08 AM I've seen him consistently mocked in the top 15 lately so I thought he was going up draft boards... so he hasn't recently been on my radar... Quote
RandyMarsh Posted yesterday at 02:10 AM Posted yesterday at 02:10 AM I want Will Johnson or Jahdae Barron. Quote

1984Echoes Posted yesterday at 02:13 AM Posted yesterday at 02:13 AM I'd love to trade up to #22 with the Chargers and select in front of the Packers. The optics would be absolutely spectacular, especially in Green Bay!!! Quote
1984Echoes Posted yesterday at 02:15 AM Posted yesterday at 02:15 AM I could absolutely go for Jihaad Campbell. Put him 3rd on the list. Emmanwori 4th... Quote
Motown Bombers Posted yesterday at 02:16 AM Posted yesterday at 02:16 AM I'm intrigued by Jihaad Campbell. Quote
1984Echoes Posted yesterday at 02:17 AM Posted yesterday at 02:17 AM I think I called Emmanwori a SAM earlier... I meant hybrid WILL/ Safety. Quote
