**** this guy.  He doesn’t understand the pick.  I don’t understand some loser that gets caught up in value and reaches when he has no real idea where teams view any of these players. There’s just so many idiots online that trust espn draft boards like they are the absolute truth when in fact they are often very wrong.  

The Lions don’t have a mid 2nd round pick and I’m certain he was rated much higher on their draft board than that.

Does it really matter if you draft him 28th or 46th? The Lions don't draft again until 60th and there may not have been a good trade.

DT was the position I wanted most so in that regard I'm happy with it but I would've liked somebody that has shown more pass rushing and pocket collapsing ability. I do remember watching him in the CFB playoffs though and he stood out in one of the games I was watching.

Its not a bad pick and there was a run of potential Lions fits in the teens to early twenties that I think might have had them scrambling a little bit.  Lions like stopping the run first and this pick helps them do that.
