The flipside is Brad is accumulating late picks.

We now have two 6ths this year and three 7ths...

What is Holmes planning to DO with all those picks?

Inquiring minds want to know...

(he has something up his sleeve?)

Pick players to fill out the roster for training camp.

3 3rds. He's athletically not a guy who should go later than the first.

But how many freak athletes never pan out or become mid players at best. I trust Brad but this is a lot of freaking trade value he's giving up for athletic value with average college production.

The production is why he isn't top 30.

I trust the coaching staff. If they think this guy is legit, I'd say 3 thirds is decent. Plus we got two 6ths which is basically a 5th. So if you look at it as two 3rds for a 3rd and a 5th, it isn't that bad......

I don't blame him, they had a mediocre offense in the sec.

His college stats for a #1 WR at an SEC school don't blow you away though. Only 500 yards and 3 TDs. Maybe Arkansas had horrific QB play, a bad OL, bad offensive coaching, or all three? But his production is meh.

We don't need him to be all pro. We got Jamo and ASB. We need him to be a solid #3.  Looks like he can do that.

In the beginning he was a good trader. He got the better of the Stafford trade, fleeced the Vikings in the Williams trade, got worked over the Packers in the Branch trade, and thought he did all right in the Gibbs trade back. These last trades leave a lot to be desired.

TeSlaa is a really intriguing prospect. Athletic freak with the perfect body type to be a Mike Evans type X Receiver, but Arkansas underutilized him, and played him as a slot receiver. Why? It's not as if he did poorly in his opportunities either. He has zero career drops.

I do think that between the trade and taking him at #70, they likely expect production this year. Not necessarily, but he might challenge Tim Patrick for WR3 out of camp.

Thats all we need him to do. I'm liking the pick more by the second.....

You don't essentially use 3 third round picks for a solid  number 3, atleast imo. I think for that kinda capital you need to get a true game changing type wide receiver.

I was wondering as well why they used him in the slot. Everything screams X receiver.

And forget about a Jamo extension?

very raw.  i bet he's wr #5-6/inactive most of the season barring an injury.

It's our 3rd this year and TWO 3rds in 2026.

So it's THREE 3rds (2025 #102) for a 3rd (2025 #70) and two 6ths.

I trust Brad.  Every year he gets questioned.    Every year he seems to do it right.

He's been a great drafter no doubt, but Levi, Paschal, Hooker, and Martin are examples where he underwhelmed or maybe got it wrong. Levi has been good now that he's healthy, but it took a while to get there. Paschal hasn't been anything special but he's been a decent rotational DL. Hooker and Martin were wasted picks IMO.
