I'd guess when they made the schedule they wanted to make sure to capture a high gate day on the holiday but SD has drawn well enough it didn't make that much difference. oblong Posted September 3 Share Posted September 3 yeah I think it's just simply teams get an off day Mon-Thur so they had them play Thursday and didn't want to have an empty Monday. Both teams had been playing for 2 weeks or more. I don't know how much say a home team gets in terms of whether a day off is Monday or Tuesday.
