gehringer_2 Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Montero faces the minimum thru 8. Rockies aren't very good, but that's still a pretty nice performance. He's solidifying a spot in next year's rotation. 1 Quote

RandyMarsh Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Before the season I don't think anybody had Montero being the guy to throw the Tigers first complete game shutout of the season. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 Parker has a 896 OPS in his last 30 games. 1 Quote

While I don't expect him to be like that going forward cause if he was that would make him a bonafide superstar but I do have faith that he can settle into the upper 700s and if he does along with his great defense in center that would still make him a damn good player and potential All Star going forward. Plus their OPS is something like 150 less on the road. May be the reason for their record. They didn't seem to put up much of a fight. Poor pitching, poor defense and no threats at the plate. In April. May and June, I said the Tigers will get shut out after scoring so many runs but these hitters are all hitting at once, the same as they were all slumping at the same time early in the year. Remarkable. Quote
