I think this is the bin we would normally put UK politics in...its amazing to me to see so little activity over the coronation of KC3.

Probably for the best.  I had a lot of respect for Queen Elizabeth but Charles was always a compromised figure.

It is as usual an amazing spectacle.

The ceremony involving the commonwealth forces is impressive to me.  This reflecton of the good parts of the Empire has always been a testament to Queen Elizabeth and Winston Churchill's will to make a positive of the end of the Colonial era.  And on balance it is.
