Would Toronto accept this offer for Guerrero and Bichette?

I've watched McGonigle this year at Joker Marchant. He looks REALLY good. His OBP doubles guy. FAST. GRITTY GAMER  I really like him. No way I trade him.

Gritty is the ticket.

I could be talked into sending Torkelson and Mize and Manning, plus Avila all-stars such as Kreidler and Dingler and Faedo and Englert and Lange, to the Jays for Guerrero and Bichette.

But keep Avila allstars like Skubal, Greene, Carpenter, Keith and Meadows.

Right. Keep the eeny-meeny-miney-moe picks that Harris figured out could be saved. (Outside of Riley, of course. Everyone would have picked him at #5.)

A roster almost entirely made up of Avila's acquisitions made it to post-season!  I agree Avila was bad.  It's just amusing that you can't seem to make a post about future plans with bashing Avila.

And neither Avila nor any development people he managed could do a thing with them. If Avila were here today—which he might still be had Reinsdorf hired Hinch instead of LaRussa—I'm sure we'd've lost close to 100 again this season.

It's just amusing you can't talk about the Tigers' success without giving him the credit for it.

It seems like most of their best players such as Skubal, Carpenter, Geene, Keith, Meadows were developing just fine when Avila's team was here.  Others like Torkelson, Manning and Mize were not and they have continued to not develop under the Harris regime.  Two other very important pieces - Hinch and Fetter were also acquired by Avila.  I know you have some kind of theory where he was ordered to hire then, but the fact is he did hire them.  I believe Harris will do better than Avila in the long run, but I am not seeing where this current team was put together entirely by Harris with no help from Avila.
