I wonder if AJ and his staff are using A.I. for matchups, position, etc. They always seem to be in the right place at the right time and matchups have been favorable for two months.

I really like that aside from Skubal and Olson, all of the other pitchers are used largely situationally and no one seems to have an ego about it because it’s worked so well.

According to the graphic on TV Holton on two days rest has pitched 25 innings and allowed absolutely zero earned runs. Of course, this doesn’t count runners already in scoring position I presume.

Yeah, the sign of a good team. Also, when players get pinch hit for, no pouting, they root for the pinch hitter. A real team...
