gehringer_2
Tork with a tough scoop on a throw by Jung. Spencer Torkelson has climbed to a +2 Rrds/yr on BR. Take that haters. Edited September 28 by gehringer_2

Tigermojo
Does KC pitch Ragans tomorrow and try to steal the strikeout crown?
lordstanley
Tigers lose, 4-0. Hangover game. No problem, the players deserved a break.

It's his turn and he's listed in MLB as tomorrow's SP but wouldn't they want him for the opening playoff game? Especially with Lorenzen maybe hurt? Skubal is only 5 Ks ahead. That stat is pretty meaningless compared to being able to pitch the opening playoff game.
IdahoBert
That wasn’t pleasant but stuff happens. Maybe our guys were not so much overconfident but instead a little too loose and sometimes looseness plays in your favor other times it doesn’t. I have no idea, but I’m not gonna lose significant sleep over this. Bragging rights over this year‘s Sox are not exactly a unique commodity. papalawrence
Chicago pitched well. Hangover game. I didn't drink, but feel a little hungover myself

The playoffs are going to feature some strong line-ups. I don't know how ready Jobe is for this, but he's got a better chance to succeed than Madden. guy incognito
Twins are down 6-0 and it's only the third. And Baltimore isn't even fielding its A-1 lineup. No matter what happens for our guys in the coming days, at least we won't have to try and keep warm through the winter on this kind of dogsh*t. Sports_Freak
Lorenzen must not be hurt. He pitched an inning for KC. Gave up the tying run though when he threw the ball away on a grounder to the pitcher.

lordstanley
Walkoff home run wins it for Atlanta. Tigers still a game up on K.C. headed into Game 162.

Win and we play Baltimore. Lose and we still play Baltimore if KC loses. If we lose and they win, we play Houston. Rest Skubal...
oblong
I ended up going today. I had turned in earlier tickets for this one in anticipation of a clincher. After last night I was ambivalent. My youngest son and I were gonna go. When I saw the weather I said screw it. He had a long night with us anyway. I already paid for parking so was a bit bummed. I sat around the house watching Michigan play. My wife comes home, wondering why we aren’t at Comerica park. There’s no way my special needs son would have tolerated this he crowded concourse for 2 hours during a delay. after last nights fun i reconnected with an old friend via text and asked him if he wanted to go with me in case I decide to go. He was sick. Was kind of looking for motivation to go. So we are laying around and I see on social media the game will start around 3:30. It’s 3:05. My wife is like “just go. I can take care of Alex and dinner. Season is almost over. We are going tomorrow so I don’t mind missing out”. I head down and get theRe in the 2nd. It rained the whole time. Like a mist. I got drenched. Luckily it wasn’t cold. Just heavy. I had some money left on my food voucher they give us and had 2 hot dogs and also 2 MGD’s. (Only $5!). Once they hit the 2 run homer I boogied put. It was a nice no pressure game. I would not have done this in June or July but when it’s the final regular season series you have to soak in all the games you can. And I don’t mind going by myself sometimes. It’s nice to just chill and not have to make small talk. No different than going and sitting in nature to meditate or whatever. and hats off to the crowd.
